Essential Standards
Structural Integrity
Foundation and load-bearing structure are built to approved drawings with no visible cracking, settling, or deviation.
Building Permit Compliance
All work is carried out under a valid building permit and conforms to Ghana's National Building Regulations (LI 1630).
Materials Match Specification
Cement grade, steel reinforcement, and blocks used match the quantities and grades stated in the bill of quantities.
Site Safety Compliance
Workers use PPE, scaffolding is secured, and the site is fenced/signposted to prevent accidents to passers-by.
Dimensional Accuracy
Room sizes, wall alignment, and floor levels match the approved architectural drawings within acceptable tolerance.
Rough-in Coordination
Conduits, pipe sleeves and ducts are correctly positioned before slab/wall closure with no later chiseling needed.
Damp-proofing Quality
Damp-proof course and waterproofing membranes are installed at foundation and wet areas to prevent moisture ingress.
Warranty Coverage
Contractor provides a written defects liability period (typically 6-12 months) covering structural and finishing defects.
