Service Expectations
These are the quality standards our Masonry, Concrete & Blockwork professionals follow to ensure you get the best service.
Essential Standards
Concrete Mix Strength
Concrete is mixed to the specified grade (e.g. Class 25) and properly cured to reach design strength.
Blockwork Alignment
Blocks are laid plumb, level and in proper running bond with consistent, fully-filled mortar joints.
Reinforcement Placement
Steel rebar is placed at correct spacing, cover and lap length per structural drawings before pouring.
Load-Bearing Compliance
Columns, beams and slabs are cast to specified dimensions and can safely bear their intended loads.
Screed Levelness
Floor screed is laid to a true, even level with no ponding or slope defects.
Formwork Quality
Formwork is rigid and leak-free, and struck only after concrete reaches sufficient strength.
Curing & Weather Protection
Fresh concrete/blockwork is protected from rain and sun with proper curing methods such as watering or covering.
Casting Site Safety
Mixing, pouring and vibrating are done with proper PPE and secured scaffolding/platforms.
Additional Quality Standards
Exposed Finish Aesthetics
Exposed concrete surfaces are smooth and honeycomb-free without needing extra patching.
Debris Cleanup
Leftover blocks, cement bags and rubble are cleared from site after work.
